Gosh! Can You Really Make That Kind Of Money Online?

Author: Michael Stimpson

The first thing you need to know about internet marketing is that it is a numbers game.

"Internet Marketing" is a broad, umbrella term. The reality is that there are many different ways of raising cash online, and anybody can have a piece of the action. You could write your own eBook, or have a subscriber newsletter, or write a profitable blog, or promote other people's products and take half of the sale price.

However, whichever method you decide to settle on (and you should settle on one method if you are a newcomer), you will quickly realise that it is a numbers game. What do I mean by this? Let me explain.

Imagine that you build yourself a little blog. You add some Adsense and affiliate links to it, generate some traffic through the usual methods, and see how it does. By the end of the month you are earning $3 a day from the site.

Now, you might be thinking that $3 a month is nothing special, but in actual fact it is a number to write home about. Why? Well imagine if you produced five little blogs a month which each produced $3 a day. That would be $15 a day, or $450 a month. Now imagine that you created five little blogs every month for an entire year. That would be 60 blogs over the year, each blog earning $3 a day, meaning $180 dollars a day; over the course of a month your blogs would be earning you $5400, and over the course of a year you would earn $64,800.

At this point your mind can run riot. What if you earned $5 on average from each little blog? What if you could complete five sites a month instead of four? What if you did this for two straight years? The sky really is only limited by the amount of dedication you put into the work. After you have done a little research by purchasing the right starting materials, you will soon get stuck in and enjoy the process. Believe me, there is nothing more exciting than checking your little online accounts every day to see if you've made more cash.

So what are you waiting for? Get your hands on some reading material, soak up some knowledge, and then get cracking! Online fortunes awaitand who knows, maybe in a year's time you'll have enough put away to put your children through college.
