Successful Businesses Follow the LANO Principle

Author: David Carter

Most successful businesses subscribe to the LANO principle, and you should to, if you want your business to survive and prosper.

So what precisely is the LANO principle?

The LANO principle dictates that you should concentrate all your efforts towards obtaining the best. The best what?

The best premises in the best location, featuring the best staff, the best minds, and they are then best motivated, to sell the best stock from the best web sites, utilising the best advertising, and the best strategy.

And how are you going to do all that? It's easy. You never settle for second best. If you never settle for second best, and always strive for the ultimate, you will become the best organisation in your field. That's inevitable.

So what does LANO actually mean?

Look After Number One. Always. Look After Number One. To some people that may sound selfish, it might even sound greedy, but it's a fact, that in business, greed really is good. Uncomfortable with greed? Don't be. Be greedy now, build your enterprise into a successful one, and once there, you can repay that pinch of greediness, a zillion times over.

You too can be happily philanthropic, once you have established your own multi million dollar business. It's easy to do that then. The super wealthy business people never miss the zillions they give away to good causes every year, once they have established their own behemoth. Did they give away huge swathes of money when they were building their own empires? Well of course not. Did they follow the LANO principle as they rode the ladder to success? Well of course they did.

Come the day, you can be as philanthropic as you like, but in the meantime, follow the LANO principle yourself, and you will achieve your aims within a much shorter time span.

And ask yourself this, who is going to look after the interests of your business, if you don't? The answer? You already know the answer. Mister Nobody, that's who. If you seek business success, follow the LANO principle, because it works.
